Raneil Smith was born in Montego Bay, the second city of Jamaica. He is currently a History major and Microbiology minor at the University of Miami. He sees himself as a history nerd, especially surrounding early modern Europe. When not watching BBC history documentaries, he is usually reading, listening to podcasts, or enjoying quality time with friends and family.
