Derah Carter is currently a junior at Howard University studying International Affairs with a minor in Russian Language and Culture. Born and raised in New Jersey, Derah grew up in the suburbs, but has a newfound love for the city life. Being relocated to D.C every fall has expanded her view on life and allowed her to enjoy what the eclectic city has to offer. In her free time Derah enjoys creating content ranging from music to beauty and fashion, fitness and faith. Always ready to learn, Derah describes herself as “a sponge that’s ready to soak up any new information and squeeze it back out into the world”.
